My mother always looked forward to those studies...they usually lasted over 2 hours, but my mom enjoyed every moment. After she passed in 2007, Sis. Hawkins was still gracious enough to keep in touch with me years later, often by corresponding through the mail...inviting me to the Annual memorial...reminding me of the upcoming District convention...or..just inquiring about my spiritual well-being. I'm gonna go through my video cam collection & find the recording of she, Brother Hawkins & some of the friends were at our house for a cookout. Then one day I was running my mouth and knocked on a door and the person said can I help you. I thought I was going to die, my breath seemed like it left me. I looked back at Dorothy and I never seen her laugh so hard and from that day on I started answering the doors too. I loved her so much she helped me to come in the truth. I will miss her dearly, but I know I will see her smiling face again in the new world.
